The Jedi drinking songs series continues as foretell the future with the merger of Disney and Star Wars. Stay tuned to see this predication realized.

In 2012, Disney bought Star Wars. We were a bit concerned with the future of the franchise. Sure, it couldn't do any worse than the prequels. But could it do better? Or was it just destined to be exactly as we predicted in this third part of the Jedi drinking songs series.

Brobdingnagian Bards (pronounced brob-din-nahg-EE-en) are The Original Celtic Renaissance music duo. They take traditional Irish and Scottish songs and give them a comedic twist. Their unique brand of music on the autoharp, recorder, and mandolin put Austin, Texas on the Celtic music map and made them one of the most-popular Celtic groups online.

Starting in 1999, Brobdingnagian Bards performed coast-to-coast, and in a given month were at a Lord of the Rings Oscar Party, a Celtic festival, or a Science Fiction Convention. However, they were an legendary favorite at Renaissance Faires where they added high-energy and wit to make every show a memorable experience.

The band officially parted ways in 2008, reuniting for occasional concerts. But it was 2018 when these innovators of the Celtic MP3 relaunched their band using Patreon like a record label. This allows them to reunite the Nagians and release all new music!
